The WT Energiesysteme Arena in Riesa, Germany, hosted the second round of the 2025-26 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship. Before a sell-out crowd of German fans, Bolt led in the Prestige class. Jonny Walker from Triumph Factory Racing Enduro Team finished second, while EnduroGP Champion Josep Garcia of Red Bull KTM Factory Racing earned an impressive third-place finish in his SuperEnduro debut.
Getting the night’s racing underway, the top-seven qualified Prestige riders lined up for the SuperPole. Rieju Factory Racing’s Dominik Olszowy was the first to hit the track. Stark Future’s Toby Martyn, making his first SuperPole appearance in the 2025-26 season, was next and improved on Olszowy’s time. Although Walker was the fastest in qualifying, he made a mistake in the sand corner and finished fifth. Ultimately, Bolt secured the SuperPole victory for the second time this season. As the only rider to break the 38-second barrier, Bolt claimed the top spot by 0.370 of a second ahead of Garcia in second.

In the Prestige Final 1, the top qualifiers for SuperPole lined up on the front row, with Walker choosing the inside lane. Bolt was the fastest, securing the Diverse Extreme Team holeshot ahead of Walker, with Tim Apolle from Classic Car Club Manhattan in third. Bolt made an error that briefly handed the lead to Walker. However, Bolt quickly recovered, but Walker remained in front and kept the Husqvarna rider at bay. Eventually, Walker made a mistake, allowing Bolt to pass again, and Bolt went on to win, with Walker finishing second. Eddie Karlsson of Stark Future delivered an impressive performance to finish third.
Benefitting from a front-row start in the second Prestige Final, Manuel Lettenbichler of Red Bull KTM Factory Racing took the holeshot before his home crowd. An impressive second-row launch allowed Bolt to surge past Lettenbichler at the next sand corner and take the lead. Bolt maintained control, leading every lap and clinching his second victory of the night by more than seven seconds. Behind him, Walker finished second, while Karlsson narrowly defended his position in a three-rider battle with Lettenbichler and Mitch Brightmore of X-Grip Racing to secure third.

In the final round, Bolt secured the holeshot for the second time. He accelerated to a commanding 16-second victory. On the track, there was a lot of action. Garcia started strong, quickly finding himself in the mix, and after a brief battle with Karlsson, the KTM rider held a comfortable second place. The race for third tightened up among Karlsson, Walker, Brightmore and Olszowy. A crash by Karlsson pushed him to eighth place, while Walker also fell and finished fifth. In the final stretch, Brightmore finished third behind Bolt and Garcia, with Olszowy achieving his best result of the night in fourth.

“Final two made the difference tonight,” Bolt said. “I got a great start when space opened up, and I was able to lead straight away. My goal coming here was to take a clean sweep, and I managed to do just that. It’s a great way to start 2026!”
After two rounds, Bolt is at the top of the championship leaderboard with 123 points, followed by Walker with 93 and Karlsson with 79. CN
