Aprilia is stepping into the mid-size GT scooter segment with the all-new SR GT 400—an adventure-leaning crossover scooter in a similar vein to that of the Honda X-ADV range.
Power comes from a 400cc liquid-cooled, four-valve single producing a claimed 36 hp. At 410 lb wet, Aprilia says the SR GT offers one of the best power-to-weight ratios in the class. The frame is a motorcycle-style double-cradle steel design paired with a 41mm inverted fork and twin rear gas shocks, each providing 4.7 in. of travel.

Ground clearance is a generous 7.4 in., aided by long-travel suspension and adventure-focused Mitas Enduro Trail tires on 16-inch front and 14-inch rear wheels. Braking comes via a 300 mm front disc with a radial caliper and a 240 mm rear disc, backed by switchable dual-channel ABS.
Styling echoes Aprilia’s sport and rally bikes, with sharp bodywork, flared side panels, and a sleek tail section. A three-element LED headlight and adjustable windscreen feature up front to give the SR GT a tough visual stance.

A full-color five-inch TFT dash is standard, with optional Aprilia MIA smartphone connectivity enabling navigation prompts, calls, and music control. Traction control offers two intervention levels and can be fully disabled, while ABS can be set to front-wheel-only for light off-road riding.
With a claimed range of over 186 mile range from its 3.1-gal tank and storage for a full-face helmet under the seat, the SR GT 400 is positioned as a machine ready for commuting, touring, and exploring the backroads in between. Aprilia will offer four colorways, plus a Tuareg Rally-inspired Rally Replica version with upgraded trim and standard connectivity. Pricing and availability to be announced soon.
