Kawasaki Motorsports introduced its 2001 racing teams and honored its 2000 champions in a presentation held in Irvine, California, last night.
Among those being honored (and receiving championship rings) were AMA 250cc National Motocross Champion Ricky Carmichael, 125cc West Regional Supercross Champion Shae Bentley, AMA National Hare & Hound Champion Destry Abbott, AMA Pro Star 600cc Supersport Champion Marty Ladwig, AMA/WML National Champion Jessica Patterson and AMA National Hare Scrambles Champion Paul Edmondson.
Kawasaki also introduced its teams that will compete in various racing activities in 2001.
