Longtime Team Green Kawasaki rider, Landen Gordon, has officially joined the Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha team for the 2026 racing season. Gordon is set to compete in the SMX Next championships during Monster Energy AMA Supercross, followed by the Moto Combine at the AMA Pro Motocross Championship, and the SuperMotocross World Championship Playoffs to finish off the season. The team made Gordon’s signing public via Instagram.

“Landen Gordon joins Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing for 2026,” the team wrote. “One of the sport’s top up-and-coming riders, Gordon looks to battle for top honors aboard the YZ250F in SMX Next and at the Amateur Nationals.”

“I’m beyond excited to join Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing,” Gordon said. “Ever since I was a kid, I’ve looked up to this team — they have accomplished so much, and I can’t wait to show what I can do on the bike this upcoming season!”

Gordon finished second in the SMX Next Supercross finale in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and backed that up with a second overall in 250 Pro Sport and fourth overall in Open Pro Sport at the the Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch over the summer. Gordon was linked to the Star team once his longtime trainer, Wil Hahn, also made the switch to the Blu Cru.
